'Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving by Dav Pilkey is a great read aloud to teach sequence, cause & effect, and citing text evidence. This book is also a really fun read aloud to add to your list of Thanksgiving activities this year.

Due to copyright laws, I am not able to provide copies of the actual book in this resource. I am also not allowed to record myself reading the book for your students. But you can include links to an e-version of the book OR read it out loud to your students.

I included extra lesson plan materials to make it easy for you to enjoy this Thanksgiving read aloud with your students!
