I have had a lot of success using these with my students who either talk too loud or talk too softly. They are great for students in the early childhood and/or autism programs as well. I explain and “act out” the different levels (they think it’s funny when I get to the yelling section). I keep a miniature version in my pocket to pull out as needed. Most of the time, seeing this visual cue is enough to bring them back to the correct level.
