What was the United States like in the 1800s? The answer to that question depends on whether you are talking about the beginning or the end of the century. From 1800 to 1899, the United States underwent major changes! The products in this bundle look at Westward Expansion in America during the 1800s by examining the careers of those men and women who paved the way and settled the land in the west.
EARLY AMERICAN PIONEERS
The terms “homesteader” and “pioneer” are often used interchangeably.
