Description:
Image being a 12 year old student walking into class to discover an inflatable obstacle course was part of your lesson for the day. How could you not be excited to participate in learning taught in a fun, hands-on, novel way??
Then, to your delight, a few weeks later a different subject meets outside to incorporate it in class for another spin on learning! This cross-curricular attraction brings student engagement to a whole level for Math, Science, Language Arts, Health, and Physical Education!
I've included specific subject-relevant lessons, brain studies on the benefits of exercise, and data about childhood obesity rates.
