Description
Learn about Mexican culture with your preschool, kindergarten, and elementary student by introducing them to these Dia de los Muertos Montessori 3-Part Cards!
These culture-themed Montessori-style three-part nomenclature cards are perfect for introducing 12 Dia de los Muertos items and terms for visual and tactile learners. Each card features vibrant color photographs making it engaging and fun for kids. This is a great resource for a unit study, a social studies center, a geography or culture unit, and more.
Dia de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is a Mexican cultural holiday that is also celebrated on November 1 and November 2 each year. Associated with the Catholic holidays of All Saints Day and All Souls Day, it is a beautiful time for family to remember those who we have lost.
Don't celebrate the Day of the Dead? This card set also gives you an opportunity to talk about the differences between holidays that your students celebrate in their home and those celebrated in other countries and cultures. Remember: appreciation not appropriation! <3
