Firefly and Fairy

I'm a 21-yr homeschool veteran sharing inspiration for homeschoolers of all ages. While I'm drawn to a blend of a Charlotte Mason and a Montessori approach to homeschooling, I also use interest-based unit studies with my children. I'm a "round two" homeschooler circling back to begin again with our youngest!

Over the last two decades, we've tried it all: Classical, literature-based, unit studies, and more. As our children's needs changed, so did our approach. My foundational belief is that we need to create learning moments that build into a lifetime understanding. How you do it doesn't matter as much as that you do. Layer, layer, layer. You got this!

I'm a life-long student of many things, including meditation and mindfulness. I hold a Certificate in Genealogical Studies - American Records from the National Institute for Genealogical Studies.
