Description

This complete unit includes:

  • Self-reflection survey - can be done pre and post unit to see progress
  • Role-play cards - practice saying statements with attitude, then calmly and reflect on how it sounds and feels
  • 2 introduction worksheets explaining “talking back”, why it is wrong, what is looks and sounds like, why kids do it, and what to do instead
  • 4 situation cards asking students to explain if a situation is “talking back”
  • 4 situation cards asking students why a situation was “talking back”, and what could have been done instead
  • 4 situation worksheets asking students to consider what would happen if a student chose to talk back versus to cope in a healthy way - follow each choice of action and reflect on how it affects everyone
  • Reflection form for inappropriate choices
