What educators are saying

I have an advanced 4th grader who was tremendously excited when I gave this to him for summer practice. I just love it when kids ask for work over the summer!!

Description

This is a chart of fractions with their decimal and percent conversions that I use to introduce finding percents of numbers and solving percent equations with my 7th graders. I use this to get students to start thinking about the proper estimation of a percent amount. Additionally, it's a good reference for converting simple fractions to decimals and percents. I have students put this in their notebooks for reference.

Compute unit rates associated with ratios of fractions, including ratios of lengths, areas and other quantities measured in like or different units. For example, if a person walks 1/2 mile in each 1/4 hour, compute the unit rate as the complex fraction ½/¼ miles per hour, equivalently 2 miles per hour.
