TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After 20 years as a computer programmer, I took my math degree and followed my passion to become a teacher. I taught 3 semesters of Algebra and Algebra II at a community college before getting a full time job teaching at a local combined junior-senior high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am flexible in the classroom and change my teaching style to accommodate student needs. I want students to learn the basics in whatever way it takes. However, I also know that structure tends to be the way most students learn. I am flexible and easy-going and try to have fun in the classroom. I emphasize the use of technology and implement project-based learning whenever I am able.
