Locus of Control Packet

Everything you need to teach about internal and external locus of control is right here. Help your students understand the difference between internal and external locus of control and gain a complete understanding of how it is applied in real life. Included is:

-An information sheet explaining internal and external locus of
control and the impacts of believing in each of the them.

-A fill-in-the-blank worksheet where students choose from a word
bank to complete statements about both types of locus of
control.

-A worksheet with 20 statements that represent either an internal
or external locus of control. Students identify which goes with
which believe system.

-A "story" where students highlight uses of external locus of
control, while reading, and write in internal locus of control
statements, throughout the story to counter what is being said.

-An activity where students are given a situation and asked to
write both an external and internal locus of control statement
for the given situation.

All assignments have answer keys, when applicable, and are designed to produce student led discussions. The open-ended responses allow for students to show a deeper knowledge and comprehension of the topic.
