Description
This is modified from the middle school life science curriculum. It aligns with Alternate Maryland State Content Standard:
1.D.2.a: Given words/picture symbols/words with pictures from a modified grade-level unit, student will sort the words into categories.
This is modified for students who are in an inclusive setting but cannot complete grade level requirements. It would also be helpful as a refresher for students, homework, or classwork in a self-contained setting.
There are ten words with picture clues. Students cut out the words/picture clues and paste them into the correct column, whether they are plants or animals. Boardmaker picture clues are helpful for students with autism.
