Description
This worksheet shows a cross-section of an animal cell. Students are to use the word bank to write the correct word next to each definition. There are five words and five definitions. I use this with my 7th and 8th graders who work on an alternate curriculum. This is also a great review for homework.
Aligns with Maryland state reading curriculum standard 1D2c: Given vocabulary words from a grade-level content unit, student will identify the meanings of the words.
Also aligns with Maryland state life science curriculum standard 3B1a: Use microscopes or other magnifying instruments to observe, describe, and compare the cellular composition of different body tissues and organs in a variety of organisms (animals and plants).
