TEACHING EXPERIENCE

With over a decade of experience teaching middle school, I have had the opportunity to work with students of all grade levels and abilities. I am passionate about integrating different subject areas to create engaging, scaffolded and cross curricular activities that foster the love of learning. Whether it's guiding accelerated learners to reach their full potential or helping honors students to challenge themselves, I am dedicated to providing each and every student with the support and guidance they need to succeed.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a math teacher, my approach is laid-back and focused on hands-on learning. I believe that the best way for students to truly understand and retain math concepts is through practice and experimentation, so I strive to create a fun and engaging classroom environment where students can learn through exploration and discovery. Whether it's working on challenging problems together as a class or participating in group activities and games, I aim to make math enjoyable and accessible for all students. My ultimate goal is to foster a love of learning and a sense of confidence and curiosity in my students, so they can approach math with enthusiasm and a growth mindset.
