TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently going into my 3rd year teaching in a Special Day Class in Redwood City, CA. I have 3rd-5th grade students, most of which are boys. I have taught 5th grade as a long term sub and 8th grade as a long term sub as well in the general education population. I have a mild/moderate Special ed credential and a multiple subject teaching credential!

MY TEACHING STYLE

In the classroom, I am patient, flexible, and I like to think I am quite funny! The students in the classroom have varying levels of reading and math abilities, which makes my teaching style very different during the day. We do a lot of leveled small groups and a lot of hands on/visual activities. Going with the flow of the day, is the best way I can describe my teaching style!
