This is my 20th year teaching elementary and middle grades. My husband is a geologist, so we have moved several times and I have had the opportunity to teach in many different school districts. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with many creative and talented educators. I consider myself lucky to have learned from so many wonderful educators throughout the years!

I'm passionate about teaching and feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to work with students on a daily basis! I grew up in Fairfax County, Virginia and earned my teaching degree from Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia where my grandmother and great aunts all earned their teaching degrees. My grandmother was a high school English teacher in North Carolina and I am honored to follow in her footsteps. I have taught in Leland, North Carolina, Fernley, Nevada, Elko, Nevada, Sparks, Nevada, and presently Reno, Nevada.
