Art Class With Mr Framps

I am a high art teacher specializing in ceramics and art history. I teacher all levels of ceramics from beginning to AP. I work with all high school grade levels from 9th to 12th. I strive to design my classroom experience and curriculum to be challenging for each learner and yet flexible enough to meet the needs of all of my students.

I believe in the power of creativity, and that students can learn so much from experiencing what its like to work like an artist. My classroom and my lessons are designed to allow students to have a "studio-like" art experience. These lessons create opportunities for students to generate original ideas, to express personal feeling, learn new skills, and to make connections with others and the world around them.

I am a teacher, but I also am an artist my self. I love to paint and work with clay. I am lucky enough to be married to another artist who is a photographer and fashion designer. I am the father of the two cutest little boys in the world, and have a goofy standard poodle who is pretty close to being a child as well. I love traveling, learning about arts and culture, and eating good food!
