TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught in a self-contained classroom for 6 years in a private school for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. For the last 8 years I have worked in public school special education Autism Spectrum Disorder Classrooms. Three years ago I took on the role of Careers and Life Skills Teacher for various specialized program classrooms at my High School!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorders, I utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis each day. If there is one thing I've learned, it's that individualization is key for teaching students whose needs are SO different from one another! My students are truly unique, and so I have developed a unique teaching style over the years!
