TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching Horticulture for seven years, where the program has grown to over 200 students. Students are able to receive Dual Credit with completion of the full year-long course. Students are also able to join the Horticulture Club which meets every Monday after school in the greenhouse for a demonstration and care of their plants. During the year, students create and sell floral centerpieces for various holidays and events. We plant and grow all bedding plants in the school greenhouse, which is sold to the Community during the first week of May. Family and Friends love coming to the Spring Plant Sale for quality plants, but most importantly to see students in their classroom environment. Students are proud to share their plant-growing accomplishments with their teachers and family.
