I have been a special education teacher for 21 years . I believe that when you put the right tools and strategies in the hands of our children, they can truly accomplish anything! I love that my job is to help them find the right tools and learn the right strategies! I have taught special education Mild/Moderate in grades K-12 in the urban and suburban settings. I have taught in the inclusion as well as self-contained environments. Before I post anything on my TPT store, I have tried it and tweaked it. I personally use everything that is in my store. Since I use them, I am also constantly tweaking each product to make it better.
If I had to describe my teaching style in one word it would be Unpredictable! It is my students whom determine my teaching style each day. I plan the 'what ' of the lessons and they determine the 'how'. Sometimes we are writing quietly with soft music and other times we are Bear Crawling through the hallways. There is never a dull moment with my students. I am always anxious to see what the day holds!
