TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 11th year teaching: 10 Years Teaching Civics (7 & 8 Grade), 2 Years American History (7 & 8 Grade), 1 Year World History and Language Arts (6 Grade)

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm a huge fan of cooperative learning. I love project-based assessments, though it is required that I have traditional assessments. You will see both types in my store. I teach students ranging from intensive history to advanced and gifted. I do a lot of visual and hands-on learning to supplement reading material.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

State Rated Highly Effective Teacher for the last 8 years. I have a 95% Average Pass Rate on the FL Civics EOC (while teaching intensive to advanced students).

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

BA in English and Anthropology, Minor in Asian Studies and Native American Studies. ACP Teaching Certification with ESE and ESOL training. Master in Educational Leadership: Curriculum Leadership.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I also run an Anime Club at my school that does an Anime Convention at our school every year. If you're interested in knowing more about that process, please feel free to message me.
