While I have experience teaching in nearly every grade level and subject, I found my passion for upper elementary and never went back.
As I have grown in my career, I've discovered the importance of allowing students to see that everywhere we turn, there is an opportunity to learn something. I value learning with relative content and aim to create lessons in which students see relevance within their own lives. I love centers, stations, group work, and real world problem solving! I have taught in a very classical private school and a very progressive public school, and I believe that it takes both old school and new school techniques to deliver a superior education.
