I taught for 5 years. In the past, I taught STEM, psychology, science, and math. (Some years I taught more than one subject.) Currently, I am homeschooling my daughter and occasionally taking subbing jobs.
I am a strong believer in differentiated instruction. I believe that different students learn in different ways. My lesson plans and activities include all types of students.
The basic learning types that I focus on are:
✔ visual learners - think graphic organizers
✔ auditory learners - think listeners and talkers (they hear themselves when they talk)
✔ read/write - think about the readers and writers
✔ kinesthetic - think about the tactile/touch students
Most students are a combo of more than one type and many can jump from one type to a different one based on the different circumstances.
I enjoy incorporating multisensory, visual, and exciting activities into everyday learning. My students have so much fun that they forget they are learning ;)
Yet to be added
I have a degree in behavioral science and many master credits in education.

FAQ:
WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT THE KINDERGARTEN MATH CURRICULUM?
The curriculum that I will be uploading for the next two years (yes! that is how long I expect it will take), will take the daily lessons to the next level.
Please note: Due to the pandemic I paused my math curriculum writing. I am focusing on helping teachers with online worksheets and activities.
Since each class and student body is unique, I find that my curriculum needed tweaking based on the class. Therefore, my lessons are based on skill goals and differentiation.
WHY ARE YOU CREATING A MATH CURRICULUM?
I am using this curriculum for my daughter. I want to give her the best education out there!
HOW WILL YOU TEACH IT IF IT WILL TAKE TWO YEARS TO CREATE?
I have the curriculum ready for my daughter. But it's only custom for her. The lessons I'm uploading, are the ones I would use in my classroom.
