TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an Instructional Specialist for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students grades PK to 12th. My logo, (e, represents my right ear and its hearing aid. I have been hard-of-hearing or partially deaf since birth.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I travel to different schools and serve PK-12th grade Deaf/HH students, I enjoy supporting classroom teachers and creating resources that are visually pleasing and easy to read. I understand how busy teachers can get. The students I serve spend a majority of their time with their classroom teachers and I want their teachers to have the information they need to make their instruction and learning materials accessible for students with hearing needs. At this time, my TPT store focuses on resources and materials for teachers working with DHH students, but I will include activities to use with students targeting auditory discrimination, memory, self-advocacy, and language skills.
