TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught various subjects from grades 7 through 12. I have also taught adult ESL, which I also hold qualifications for. I am fully qualified to teach grades 1-12 in two Canadian provinces. Most of my experience has been teaching social sciences and more recently, ESL and ELD.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a communicative teacher, putting high emphasis on students achieving solid communication and analytical skills. My experience teaching ESL has opened me up to many new methods of teaching. I have taught classroom ESL as well as ELD and have also taught History in sheltered ESL classes. I also have experience teaching ESL at an adult level.
