I love spending my days with children, helping them ignite a passion for learning. I have 15 years of teaching experience, primarily in fourth grade, but my experience has spanned 2nd-4th. The last 11 years of my career have been spent teaching at a private school in Manhattan, New York.
I love to provide direct instruction on new concepts, skills and ideas, and then create games, projects, and collaborative activities that allow children to explore those new concepts in a more creative and interactive way. I also enjoy teaching about social responsibility and social justice, teaching children about the challenges we face as a global community, but how they can enact social and global change as citizens of the world.
