After obtaining a doctorate in Microbiology, I immediately decided to become a teacher and now currently have over 25 years’ experience teaching science at the elementary, middle, secondary, and college levels. I have taught pre-K science and college science and every grade level in-between! I have been a consultant for the Columbia University School and have presented multiple times at national and regional NSTA conferences. I also taught Elementary and Secondary Science Methods classes at Marist College. I am the author of the Dr. Dave’s Science Teaching Manuals, a series of instructional manuals for elementary, middle-school and secondary science teachers. More recently I have written a 9th grade physics and 10th grade chemistry curriculum for a large charter school in NYC.
Hands-on, inquiry-based, and student-friendly science. Students love to learn science!
