TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught in the classroom for 17 years, in kindergarten, 1st and 4th grade. I am currently a K-5 instructional coach!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am all about student engagement! I want things to be hands-on and so engaging that the students are motivated and excited to learn. I like to incorporate games and technology because I think school should not only be about learning, it should be FUN! A passion of mine for the last few years has been to meet the needs of ALL students in my classroom which means not just the strugglers and the students on grade level. It's meeting the needs of my beyond level students, too. I have geared a lot of my latest resources toward higher-level thinking activities for those kiddos.
