I have 13 years of teaching experience in the secondary setting. I have taught US History, AP US History, World Geography, Sociology, Psychology, AP Psychology, and State Dual Credit Psychology.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is relaxed but with high expectations. I believe in treating my students as the young adults they are but scaffolding independence and responsibility. Part of my job is to prepare them for life after high school, so I hold my students accountable for assignments, deadlines, and expected behaviors.

Our house is full of love and lots of laughter. My husband is also in education. He is a former History teacher and current Assistant Principal, as well as, Athletic Director.
