TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Since 1997, I have loved my career as a teacher. I have taught in rural and suburban schools. My classes have mostly been with at-risk students. Watching students light up when knowledge is gained is the most amazing feeling!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Teaching common core has been a challenge, but through the experience, I have become a better teacher! Teaching from the back of the room versus the from of the room has been the biggest reflection to my improvement! Teaching students to try through experiment is always a challenge and continues to be! Building relationships and providing motivation is the biggest key!
