TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught fifth grade (one year with all boys) for two years in Prince George's Country, Maryland. I also served as the K-6 Math Coordinator for our school. After that, I spent three years in Kenya working for a startup education company that builds low-cost private primary schools for families living on less than $2 per day. In Kenya, I developed the teacher recruitment and training programs, training more than 5,000 teachers for our academies.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love trying to make learning fun and engaging for my students. For me, that often involves turning everything and anything into games.
