TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Obtained a Bachelor of Education and Master of Counseling Education degree from an accredited university. Has years of experience teaching middle school/public city school system. My core focus has been mainly in World Geography; although, I've had experience in teaching American History, Pre-algebra, Art, French, and Physical Education.

MY TEACHING STYLE

The basis of education is to assist in the development of students academically, emotionally, socially, and physically so that they will become functioning, influential citizens of our society as they reach adulthood. There are three types of learners: tactile, auditory, and visual. In addition, it is also important to determine a student's strengths within the 8 multiple intelligences: Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Visual-Spatial, Musical, Naturalist, and Logical-Mathematical. I implement a hands-on/discovery approach to teaching/learning. If the student is actively engaged in the learning process and can claim ownership of what they have learned, success will be evident.
