Graduate teacher with experience in teaching Japanese to all year levels bellow SACE stage 1 (Year 11), History 8-11, Research Project, and 1-on-1 mentoring.
I'm a big fan of project-based learning. The idea that the student's build up to creating their own product after learning individual skills they then use as a scaffold is core to my teaching strategy. I favor Vygotskian methods in developing scaffold for learning and believe that given the correct scaffolds and resources most students can do anything that is put in front of them. With a little help of course!
