TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an experienced writer of a full literacy curriculum for lagging readers, four books, two movie screenplays, curriculums for others, and have edited many books. In 2014, I had the highest growth score in the state of TN, of any subject area in middle school, 34% more of my students became proficient on our TCAP test moving from 43% proficiency to 77.7% proficiency with a growth of 22.6.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am very student and growth oriented. I have a great sense of finding ways for all students to grow. I believe in repetition through different activities in order to hit all learners.
