Inspired French

Bonjour, I’m Rebecca from Inspired French. You, mes chers collègues, inspire me to create! I have a B.A. & M.A. in French. I have been a student of French for 30+ years, have tutored French for 25+ years, have taught French in the classroom for 17+ years (plus one year teaching in a French high school), have worked as a curriculum writer, and have been an AP College Board reader. I teach French 3, 4, & AP in Texas. In my experience, there are far fewer proficiency-based, comprehensible input, ACTFL standards-based materials available above the novice level and there are very few novice level materials that incorporate AP skills, so I have spent many hours creating my own. It is my pleasure and honor to be able to share them with you.

Students in my classroom do as much reading, writing, listening, and speaking as possible in French in an engaging way. I work toward creating a loving, intentional, collaborative space so all grow in understanding and appreciation of French language and culture as well as the Francophone world.

I have a B.A. and M.A. in French. I am currently working on an M.Ed. in Educational Technology.
