This is my 5th year teaching exceptional learners in my K-2 Life Skills classroom! I teach students with a variety of abilities and many different learning needs! I have tons of experience differentiating instruction and working to make the general education curriculum work for all students!
I believe in hands on experiences and learning creatively. I encourage students to ask question and solve problems while providing scaffolding for them to be successful. If children cannot learn the way we teach, we need to teach the way we learn!
I pride myself on always striving for a better future for my students! I am a member of my Intermediate Unit's Curriculum Committee and Project Max Initiative!
I graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a dual certification in Elementary and Special Education in 2011. I am currently attending ESU again working toward my Master's in Reading.
I am just at the beginning of my TPT journey! Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you have are always appreciated! Also-- Follow me: Pinterest: https://www.pinterest.com/McQueenTeaching/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/whistlewhileyouteach/
