TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a first year teacher. I have strived this year to work on different ways to stay organized, while trying to maintain a paperless classroom. I try and use alot of technology within my classroom and use the technology to my advantage as well. The students love getting to use the technology and they are actually excited to use the clickers for tests and quizzes, and like to use edmodo.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I spend the first few days in the classroom just getting students comfortable around me and their peers. We play alot of icebreaker games to help the studnets open up more. Everyday the students come in, there is a bellwork question on the board to help them get focused for the day. Students generally answer this on a clicker system so that they can instantly see the results and allows us to review the question afterwards.
