I am in my 11th year of teaching. I have taught 7th, 8th, and 9th grade math over my career. Over the past three years I have gotten heavily involved in developing resources for teachers within my school district to use. I am inspired daily to become a better teacher. My inspiration is my 5 year old daughter. I prepare, teach, assess, and manage my classroom every day the way I would want her teacher to.
I have a flipped classroom in each of my classes. My students learn the basics of the material via a video taped lesson on the computer the night before and come to class excited and ready to apply what they learned to high rigor application problems.
