I have been teaching for 20 years.
My teaching style is best described as fun, but thorough. My students would describe me as energized and nerdy. My co-workers would describe me as well-organized and planned. I love bringing ELA into Science and Social Studies. People most often relate Science to Math, but Language Arts can also be a great integration! My classroom focuses on hands-on, student-led discoveries.
2002 Student Teacher of the Year, 2007 Teacher of the Year
Bachelor of Science: Interdisciplinary Studies (K-8), Master of Arts: Elementary Education, Master's +45 Educational Administration
When I'm not at school, I love spending time with my family! I'm happiest when I am enjoying the simple things in life.
