TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am certified in Family and Consumer Science for grades 5-12. My first teaching job fresh out of college was actually at a local Head Start teaching a class of twenty very vibrant four year olds. I'm currently teaching Family and Consumer Sciences in grades 9-12.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm very laid back in the classroom and prefer to my classes be based on discussion and conversation. I do incorporate a fair amount of lecturing and note taking, but in large part, I rely on class and group discussions paired with hands on labs and projects.
