TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught preschool (ages 3-5) for 4 years. I went on to teach 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade in a high poverty area. I'm currently an instructional coach, with a focus on grades 2-5.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a strong believe in hands on learning. It is very rare my students are assigned a worksheet to complete at their desk; I'd rather have my students working together and using manipulatives to strengthen knowledge. I'm lucky to have a very high technology classroom and try to incorporate technology into most of my lessons.
