I am a progressive national and international award winning educator that focuses on 21st century learning and meaningful technology integration. I use project-based learning, design thinking, and authentic assessment strategies in all of my courses to facilitate higher order thinking and encourage collaboration and student connection with the material. For the last eight years I have taught a combination of French (all levels through AP), AP European History, and Graphic Design in public and independent schools. My students have a 100% pass rate for the AP French Language and Culture exam an 85-90% pass rate on the European History exam, depending on the year. I am the Director of Educational Technology for an independent high school in San Francisco starting in 2013-2014.

I received the "Emerging Leader" Award from the International Society for Technology in Education in 2012, and continue to work with the organization in the Young Educator's Network. I received the "Teacher of the Future" Award from the National Association of Independent Schools in 2012, and I continue to work with the organization as the moderator for their Schools of the Future online community. I was chosen to participate in the 2012 Google Teacher Academy in Mountain View, California. I was selected to be a part of the Lead Learners group, which reviews future applications and plans GTA events.
