TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching art to various grade levels for the past 11 years. After teaching elementary and high school art for seven years in New Jersey, I made a move to Massachusetts where I had the wonderful opportunity to teach art to elementary and middle school students at a prestigious Boston charter school. I am currently the art teacher at a wonderful public school in Whitinsville, Massachusetts where I teach kindergarten and first grade students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching art! My goal in the classroom is to create an exciting, fun learning environment where students feel safe to take risks and be creative! Almost every lesson I teach incorportates some form of art history where students get a chance to learn about a specific artist or art movement. From there we focus on a specific art technique that students will use while creating their beautiful works of art!
