I teach students 12 years and up and am the founder of the Language Loft of Roatan in Roatan, Honduras. I have lived and taught in Spain, the United States, and Honduras. My experience includes teaching teen and adult expats living or traveling to Honduras. I have created thousands of lessons geared to get students understanding and speaking Spanish in real life. I have taught ESL as well, and often work with new teachers to improve teaching techniques. Often, I work in communities and schools with very limited resources, and specialize in using what is available in limited environments to teach in a highly effective manner. The materials here reflect this experience.
★Situationally Minded Spanish Language and Grammar★ My work has often been to encourage students living in the second language to get out and communicate sooner rather than later! I connect Grammar go-to's to real life activities and conversations and enjoy converting almost anything into a truly interactive classroom lesson! My approach is minimalist--meaning that I believe you can teach without all the fluff and still provide engaging and highly effective lessons that encourage student interaction and retention.
