I spent 12 years working with teachers and students as an educational sign language interpreter. I have been teaching middle school reading and writing for the past five years.

I believe that my firm and consistent classroom management enables students to safely and comfortably settle into an atmosphere of openly sharing and learning.

I earned my K-9 teaching certificate through Northern Illinois University in 2007. I graduated from Rockford College in 2011 with a masters in reading. I currently enjoy teaching reading and writing in the 8th grade classroom.
