After a decade of tutoring, teaching, and creating tools to help students learn and love literature, we launched LitCharts (www.litcharts.com) in 2008. Our mission was to create a new kind of literature guide that would help students understand great books while also teaching them how to think deeply about them. More broadly, we wanted to create the first series of literature guides that students and teachers could love. Today, more than a million students and teachers read LitCharts every month, and we are delighted to say that includes tens of thousands of teachers who use our guides for prep and in their classrooms. Now, after working closely with dozens of teachers, we are developing tools that help teachers to bring the LitCharts way of close-reading and understanding literature into classrooms. We can't wait to work with you and would love to hear your feedback! Ben and Justin Creators of LitCharts
