TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in education for over 25 years! 17 years in the classroom and a reading specialist for the last 9! I have currently transferred to a Title I school and I love it! I love working with both kids and teachers! I have been an adjunct professor at a community college where I taught the History of Education! So fun!! My best friend and I started a literacy camp during the summer months for k-1 kids and successfully ran and owned it for 6 years! I love all things literacy and enjoy making products to help teachers be the best they can be.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is to believe in kids and raise the bar knowing that they will reach your expectations EVERY time!! I also feel that if you don't engage kids, it doesn't matter how great your lesson is, without engagement you've got nothing!
