I have been an educator for 15 years. I have taught Kindergarten and second grade mainstream and bilingual. Officially a Middle School Multilingual Since 2022- Present. I am the teacher behind Literacy Tales. My goal is to connect and support teachers who are also feeling overwhelmed and struggling to find balance by using the right tools, strategies, techniques, and resources to stay organized and prepared.

I truly believe that books and reading have the power to transform young minds and help them achieve great things. As a teacher, I love using children's literature to support my students' growth. That's why I always try to incorporate read-aloud and shared reading into all of our activities. I believe that independent reading and read-aloud are two strategies that can really help students develop their critical thinking skills and prepare them for a bright future.

I'm a trilingual teacher with a multicultural background - Australian-born, Colombian raised by Lebanese parents. I connect with my students academically and emotionally. I create resources to help teachers balance work and personal life. I know firsthand how important it is to have supportive teachers, having faced challenges in my own educational journey.
