The bulk of my teaching experience involves working with students who have emotional and behavioral disabilities. I previously worked at public centers that focus on serving students with significant behavioral challenges. Currently, I work for for a VA school district as a Behavior Specialist. This means I work mostly with other teachers who have students who struggle with behavior. I find that engaging materials are the best way to keep behaviors at bay.
My teaching style is positive and exciting. The more fun and interesting the work is, the more students learn and the better they feel.
