I am a dedicated and experienced educator with a passion for teaching and learning. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I have honed my skills in delivering Math and Science curriculum to students of various ages and backgrounds. My degree in Math education has provided me with a solid foundation in teaching and learning strategies, which I have undoubtedly utilized to create engaging and effective lessons. Beyond teaching, I have also taken on a coaching role in basketball, showcasing my commitment to developing well-rounded students. This demonstrates that I value not only academic growth, but also physical and social development in my students. My passion for education and my diverse skill set make me an asset to any learning community. My dedication to my students and my craft is evident, and my years of experience have undoubtedly equipped me with the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in the lives of my students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

My education history reflects my strong commitment to pursuing knowledge and developing my skills as a Math educator. I graduated from Streetsboro High School in 2006 and went on to earn a degree in Math education from The University of Akron. Throughout my career, I have sought out numerous professional development opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge as an educator. These opportunities have included attending conferences, workshops, and other training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and strategies. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in Math education to deepen my understanding of the subject matter and refine my teaching skills even further. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and my education history demonstrates my drive to continuously improve and provide my students with the best possible learning experiences.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

As a Math educator with international teaching experience, I have dedicated my career to helping students develop a love for learning and a passion for Math. I am currently based in South Korea, where I teach at an international school and work with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I am a proud parent of two young boys, who inspire me to be the best version of myself both inside and outside of the classroom. My family is a constant source of motivation and support, and I feel incredibly grateful to have them in my life. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach in various locations, including the USA and Abu Dhabi. These experiences have broadened my perspective and deepened my appreciation for different cultures and ways of thinking. I strive to bring this global perspective into my teaching, encouraging my students to think critically and creatively about the world around them. In all aspects of my life, I am driven by a desire to make a positive impact on the world and those around me. Whether it's through my teaching, my parenting, or my personal relationships, I am committed to living a life of purpose and meaning.
