TEACHING EXPERIENCE

22 years teaching middle school math and Algebra

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to provide my students with lessons and activities that help them explore the concepts and to take a front-seat role in their learning. My goal is to provide them learning opportunities that are student-centered, discovery-based, and with as much engagement as possible. Their conceptual understanding is one of my top priorities. If you walk into our classroom, or search in my store, you will see activities that encourage cooperation and active engagement, as well as ways to make it easy for me to check student work – or even better, self-checking for students. Time is priceless in the classroom!
